Personnel Airlock with Optimized Space Utilization

Individually planned personnel airlock designed to make the best possible use of available space and maximize the number of airlock stations.

Initial Situation

A personnel airlock was to be implemented for entry into the cleanroom area, where the available space was severely limited. At the same time, there was a requirement to accommodate as many gowning and airlock stations as possible. Standard solutions could not meet these requirements, as they did not utilize the available space efficiently enough.

Requirements for the Solution

Optimal use of the available space

Maximization of the number of gowning and airlock stations

Clear structuring of gowning and airlock areas

    Ergonomic arrangement of equipment

    Cleanroom-compatible materials and surfaces

Our Solution and the Resulting Benefits

Based on the spatial conditions, we developed an individually planned airlock concept in which layout, equipment, and workflows were specifically designed for maximum space utilization.

We handled the complete planning of the personnel airlock — from layout design and positioning of equipment to the manufacturing of individual elements. Through the precise arrangement of all components, the available space was optimally used and the number of airlock stations maximized.

1

Maximum Number of Airlock Stations

The planning enables significantly more gowning and airlock stations within the same floor area.

2

Optimal Use of Available Space

The available area is utilized functionally and without unnecessary loss of space.

3

Clear Structure within the Airlock Area

The arrangement supports organized and clean workflows.

4

High Level of Comfort for Personnel

Ergonomically positioned equipment facilitates daily gowning procedures.
